Clipz: 3 tracks from Lecrae's (rebel)

Reach is on top of thangs, making it easy for me to share with you three sample tracks from the upcoming (rebel) album. Take a listen in the player below.

BTW: Note the image above is the original cover. If you've seen the recent versions they've made the (rebel) part larger and in place of Lecrae's name. A wise move that, again, sounds like they listen to and incorporate fan feedback.

Vidz: MuteMath light drums

I know - another stinkin' video post! But I had to share this from one of my favorite bands and drummers.

Vidz: Cuts from Lecrae's (rebel)

A few clips of tracks from Lecrae's upcoming (rebel) album dropping Sept 30.

"Got Paper" sounds like it has a killer chorus I've been mentally screaming for years.

Vidz: Yunek's "Shake 'Em Up Tour"

H-town's neo-soulstress Yunek has some video footage from her "Shake 'Em Up Tour." Peep the clips below.

Bushwick talks about his "Testimony" to Allhiphop.com

Photobucket

Someone from Allhiphop.com got at Bushwick Bill recently and let him share his "Testimony" (both the album and literal heart change story.)

Story: "Bushwick Bill: Growing Up"

This is the Bill I pray continues to emerge.

Props to Applejaxx for tipping me to the story.

Vidz: More AEOM clips

I know it seems like I'm only posting YouTube clips these days, but when you keep finding gems, you wanna share.

Here are a few solid ones from my man DJ Promote. He and his boy Joe Funk hit the ground running at the All Eyes On Me Awards and snatched these choice cuts.

Bushwick Bill's open mic (from a different angle than before) - Be sure to stick around for the "Testimony of Redemption" lyrics at the end.

Vid: RedCloud hosts TBN's "Real Videos"

Not sure how long ago this aired, but this makes me smile.

1. A dude like RedCloud getting on TBN to show "real videos."

2. Him sharing his testimony.

3. Him praying for the show to air some good hip hop and "not that cheesy stuff."

4. All the Tapatio he kicks onto the eggs as he's talking.

Vidz: Tre9 old school + rock / FLAME & LeCrae make a "Joyful Noise"

More vidz:

Tre9 and Laden give a rock twist to his old school "Godfather" joint at the All Eyes On Me Youth Conference earlier this year.

And FLAME and Lecrae get official to make a "Joyful Noise." This song always trips me out because it starts out as a silly snap piece and then morphs into a solid guitar-backed commercial track. I'm not 100% in love with it, but have to admit it makes me worship.

Vidz: Jay-Z interviews T-Bone on Sway & Tech's Show

These vidz are now a decade old but are just hitting the Net.

Pretty interesting with Boney Bone later acting in a movie with Jay's future wife and with Sway sitting in here too.

Also note to self: search YouTube for episodes of "The Cut". That classic show had all kinds of Christian MCs rippin' it. One memory that sticks out to me was KRS-ONE loving T-Bone's performance but giving it a 7 score (out of 10) because "it was God's number."

Props to homie thetruth178 on the HCR Message Boards for tipping me to this.
