It is such a good cause too, medical care in Kenya has really suffered and if the people had better facilities it is actually life and death. Sketch, this is not totally surprising if you read 2 Tim 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power...I think this is what we are seeing.

Sarah Palin was so successful as a governor, she graduated early, she real is a “Dan Quayle” in heels. She clearly loves “dishing it out” but real can’t take it because she loves playing the victim card. Poor thing she fail as a VP candidate (her lie that her daughter was engaged was such a farce), her stand-up comic fiasco on the Jay Leno Show, please, her TV show canceled after declining rating, I guess running for Prez is the only thing she can look forward to, but since she is a coward she will only throw small minded rocks, poor thing. Since we already had an idiot “W” that caused our current economic debacle, America knows not to trust in fools who think they are brilliant. One of the reason for “W” failure was his drinking, Palin just has bad genes.

Soldiers are murderers...

I love it when ignorant people make sweeping generalizations and speak smugly about things they know nothing about... The guy criticizes US foreign policy for not stopping genocide in other places in Africa and then criticizes the very instruments that would have been utilized to stop the genocide had that genocide been stopped (ie, US Soldiers).

Also, nowhere in that five minute rambling diatribe did he address the question that was asked him: How do you call out other rappers when they are wrong. Well if the answer is he doesn't believe in clear lines of right and wrong, then he should be the first to understand that a blanket statement that calls all American soldiers "murderers" is a serious misnomer.

Don't necessarily disagree with who overall purpose here. I agree that an explanation will be needed; as to when I don't really have an opinion as I am not a Canton Jones listener (not that I don't like him, just not familiar with his stuff at this point).

However, I would disagree with a lot of the argument. Saying that if these lines cause one to imagine cuss words inserted says more about the heart of the listener doesn't make sense to me. I don't care how pure someone's heart and mind is, "don't let em________in da club..." naturally assumes a curse word.

You may be right on the 'mystery' idea, where mystery is intriguing for the listeners; however, in this case there is not much mystery. Not sure what else you could insert in there. In other words, not a lot of options to fill in the blank with without some sort of explanation from the writer.

Lecrae did actually put out a video explanation of his symbol, which I myself don't think was necessary, but perhaps helpful. There was nothing in the symbol to cause one to come to some of the conclusions that were drawn by a very few misguided individuals. However, in this case the majority of listeners are going to be wondering why Canton is bleeping out curse words (whether he is or not) simply because that is what it implies.

Anyway, I should probably listen to the song before getting into this discussion, but those are just my thoughts off the cuff. Appreciate your perspective.
