Israel Houghton talks about working on T-Bone's new album, adds different rapper to New Breed

Cross-cultural worship leader Israel Houghton recently traded services with Christian rap veteran T-Bone where each will perform on the other artist's upcoming album.

Just last week T-Bone was in Houston to record with Houghton at Lakewood Church for New Breed's Jesus At The Center live DVD/album. Here, Houghton discusses that event and returning the favor for Bone's Return of the Bionic Man project.

And in other hip hop/Houghton related news, the group recently added Christian rapper/singer Ryan Horton from La Familia Muzik.

T-Bone to drop last rap album in 2010

Sphere of Hip Hop.com is reporting that T-Bone has announced that his last rap album will be released in 2010. From there, he'll move on to Caribbean and South American fused Praise & Worship music.

These vidz are now a decade old but are just hitting the Net.

Pretty interesting with Boney Bone later acting in a movie with Jay's future wife and with Sway sitting in here too.

Also note to self: search YouTube for episodes of "The Cut". That classic show had all kinds of Christian MCs rippin' it. One memory that sticks out to me was KRS-ONE loving T-Bone's performance but giving it a 7 score (out of 10) because "it was God's number."

2008 GMA Award Winners - No real surprises

No real surprises here (based on the organization's past) for categories of interest to the HHH-fan except for the fact that Toby Mac (who has roots in the genre via dc talk and Gotee Records) won Artist of the Year.
